What is the running time?

SCHOOL OF ROCK is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one intermission.

Is there an age limit?

SCHOOL OF ROCK is recommended for ages eight and older. Please be advised that children under the age of four will not be permitted into the theatre, and every person who enters the theatre will require their own ticket.

Will there be a cast recording?

What do I wear to the show?

There is no specific dress code. Formal attire is not required.

What is your rush policy?

NOTE: There will be no rush or lottery tickets for performances December 25 – December 31, 2016.

School of Rock offers a limited number of $39 rush tickets to each performance. Rush tickets can be purchased in person at the Winter Garden Theatre beginning when the box office opens each day. Limit of two rush tickets per person, purchased by cash or credit.

How can I watch the 360° video on desktop?

YouTube:

Visit goo.gl/vr/sor360 in the latest version of Chrome for the best experience. You can also view in the latest versions of Opera or Firefox. 360 videos on YouTube cannot be viewed on Safari or Internet Explorer.

Facebook:

Visit fb.me/sor360 and make sure you’re using the latest version of your web browser (ex. Chrome, Firefox). 360 videos on Facebook cannot be viewed on Safari or Internet Explorer.

How can I watch the 360° video on my phone or tablet?

YouTube:

YouTube 360 videos require the YouTube app in order to be viewed optimally. The YouTube App can be downloaded via Apple’s App Store here for iOS devices and Google Play Store here for Android devices. Once you have downloaded the YouTube app, please visit goo.gl/vr/sor360 on either Android 8+ or iOS 8+. 360 videos aren’t currently viewable on the YouTube mobile site.

The link should open in the YouTube app automatically, but some settings on your device might default to opening in a browser (which won’t support 360 video). If this happens, open the YouTube app, and search for the “School of Rock The Musical” channel. The 360 video will be available under the Videos tab.

Facebook:

Visit fb.me/sor360 on Android 4.3+ and make sure you’re using the latest version of the Facebook app. 360 videos on Facebook aren’t currently viewable on iOS.

YouTube:

  • Android 4.3+ and iOS 8+ phones and tablets
  • Desktop browsers: The latest versions of Chrome, Opera or Firefox.

  • Desktop in any browser

If the video playback appears to be lagging, try viewing in a lower quality by clicking the gear wheel in the lower right-hand corner.

Facebook:

If the video playback appears to be lagging, try viewing in a lower quality by unselecting “HD” in the lower right-hand corner.

How can I move around?

YouTube:

Here’s how you can move around the classroom in 360°:

Desktop: “Click and drag” using your mouse, or click the arrows in the top-left corner of the video.

Mobile: Open the video in your YouTube App or visit goo.gl/vr/sor360, and move around with your phone to experience the video in 360°.

Facebook: 

Here’s how you can move around the classroom in 360°:
